About Lakeland Picnic
Lakeland Picnic was created by Michelle Partington in the Lake District back in 2007. The idea was to provide really delicious hot food at events and shows throughout the north-west and that philosophy has not changed. Providing a small menu of really tasty burgers and sausages made by us in the Savin Hill butchery, Lyth Valley, near Windermere proved a great success. We also work with other smaller regional suppliers who lovingly make the breads, cheeses and condiments that we put with the meaty bits.
One of the things that we feel is a really important part of Lakeland Picnic is avoiding flavour enhancers and colourings in our food. By making the meat products ourselves we have full control of what we put in them and the emphasis is definitely on quality and taste.
The Smaller producers we work with are also passionate about making their foods which when all teamed together create a fantastic flavour experience.

We are now also proud to announce that Lakeland Picnic can also offer a range of hot drinks and fresh juices together with some healthy options at events during 2011. Check out the events page to see when and where this will be available.
