The provenance of Lakeland Picnic food The beef and pork used is from the Savin Hill butchery. You can find out more about Savin Hill Farm at www.savin-hill.co.uk The bread we use is from Munx Lakeland Bakery at Mill Yard in Staveley. The chutneys are from Claire's Handmade based near Wigton in Cumbria. Claire and her husband Mike produce a fantastic range of chutneys and sauces made slowly to ensure the full flavour of the ingredients can be discovered. The Lancashire cheese is from Graham Kirkham AKA Mrs Kirkham. This truly is an excellent example of the regions cheese, Graham is the 3rd generation producing the cheese and they milk a herd of Freisian/Holsteins for the raw ingredients. They are based at Goosnargh near Preston.
